Meet the face behind Tastes

Alessandra Davin is a D.C. area native and currently resides in Bethesda, Maryland. After graduating from St. John’s University in Queens, NY and moving back to the D.C. area, she began her self-made journey into the marketing world. Looking for a way to share everything that the D.C. area had to offer, including the ever-growing food scene, she started @TastesoftheUnion, an Instagram account that highlights various restaurants in the DMV.

Her passion and drive for all things marketing has grown increasingly the past few years. She brings a range of experience to the table, such as influencer and social media marketing, content creation, UGC, product marketing, prospective marketing, digital marketing, strategy planning, and data & analytics.

Alessandra currently specializes in paid partnerships and user generate content (UGC) for both local and national brands.

In 2022, she launched her side small business, Tastes and Social, And if you haven’t guessed already, Tastes and Social gives a nod to where it all began: Tastes of the Union.
